Room Air Purifier

If you're having problems with airborne pollutants, you need to look into getting a room air purifier. Generally, you need to make sure that you have coverage for your entire living space. Different brands of air purifier can cover different square footage areas, and some are limited to a single room. Other brands will cover virtually an entire house with just one air purifier. Know the square footage of both the purifier and your house before you make your decision.

Room Air Purifier

The first thing you need to do when deciding whether to buy an air purifier is to figure out the square footage of your house, and probably of individual rooms as well. Finding this is easy - measure two walls that connect to each other to see how many feet they are. Then multiply the two amounts by each other - that's the square feet that the room takes up. You'll need to make a decision based on your personal situation as to how much coverage you want. For people with serious health problems, you might want to get multiple air purifiers - one room air purifier for each area that you live in. If you mainly stick to one part of your house, you might need just one. You can get an air purifier that is strong enough to cover the entire house, but those can get expensive. It also can sometimes be more efficient to have multiple, smaller ones anyway - you spread out the purification over the whole house.
