General Electric, to the best I can tell, does not actually manufacture any air purifiers themselves. However, they have subsidiaries that produce several parts used in the products made by other companies. First, they have made ultraviolet lamps that are used in air purifiers that are designed to kill germs. Second, they make the motors that are used to power the Holmes air purifiers. These are pretty quiet and well built. If you need a replacement part for either of these, however, it's best to just go through the manufacturer of the air purifier itself, as I do not believe you can get replacements directly from GE (at least I can't locate a way to).
