An air purifier will help with your problems and can reduce the mold count in the air, which is great for people with allergies. But it's also important to try to remove the source if you can. If your house is humid or has mold somewhere, get it removed. Don't just rely on an air purifier to reduce the effects - it will help, but it won't solve your problem in the long run.
